Elphi's Embrace: My orchestral piece pays homage to Elphie, the Elbphilharmonie, celebrating its marvel in Hamburg. The accompanying video features my captures from 2017 to April 2024. Since its opening in 2017, I've attended six concerts, cherishing its grandeur.

Out of the Mud: This musical composition by Bernd Klein was inspired during a leisurely stroll with his wife and daughter on a bright early spring day, as they meandered through wooded areas and open fields in the Tuttlingen area. The terrain was notably muddy, and their shoes were persistently burdened by the clinging, adhesive mud. The resulting musical piece embodies a gentle and uplifting melody, akin to the sensation of liberating oneself from the mire.

"Le roi et ces trois chateaux / The King and his Three Castles" is a captivating musical composition by Bernd Klein, harmonizing traditional, contemporary, and serial music elements in its four movements set in F minor. This symphony offers a mesmerizing musical journey, conjuring images of ancient emperors—an ideal soundtrack in search of a film.

Days Like ThisMusic piece for string orchestra, trumpets and cornets composed by Bernd Klein. This music piece starts with the cornets and the trumpets marking the beat with a single with a single tone, whereas the the string orchestra accompanies this off-beat with colorful harmonies.
As the wind instruments gradually introduce more diverse melodies, the strings transition into sustained harmonies, creating a lush and atmospheric backdrop. The main theme emerges in a lively six-eight beat, captivating listeners with its rhythmic charm. Eventually, the composition seamlessly transitions back into a dynamic four-four beat, this time infused with heightened intensity and emotional fervor, creating a truly immersive musical journey.

Sinvalaisphony: String orchestra with flutes, clarinet and trumpets composed by Bernd Klein
The video opens with impressive shots of the Aletsch Glacier. The majestic or menacing sounds of the double basses accompany these images. Suddenly, the image of a struggling cow appears, leading us into more human realms. We are confronted with images of grapes before the glacier images and ominous cloud formations take over again. The music gradually conquers all the instruments in the orchestra, even if the cellos and double basses seem to have the upper hand. But in the end, the glaciers and harsh high mountain formations dominate both the video and the orchestral music.
